Welcome to the Site Of Ibiza Club Agenda. We feel there are many sites about clubs on Ibiza but what is missing so far is a quality page with regard to the daily club activities on the Island. We would not know of any other web site that gives you a weekly overview with what is going on and in which clubs. We intend to give you such an overview once per week. Amnesia Amnesia opened around 1970. It is one of the first Ibiza clubs and used to be in open air. Due to stringent noise laws it had to cover both the inside and the outside terrace. Amnesia has always been one of the island's favourites when it comes to end of season parties. The Terrace is open until late afternoon. It is a very varied venue. The world famous foam party, manages to mix house and trance along with rock and pop. The foam is sometimes over head-height and the place is always packed. Other nights such as Cream and Sven Vath's Cocoon promise a trancier and harder sound. Due for it's crowd and great tunes it is very popular. It used to be the definitive open air venue, both outside on the terrace and inside. Legendary stories about never-ending parties and drumming sessions taking over when the music stops still do the rounds. These days Amnesia is an indoor venue with a lot of style and class. The terrace is a huge greenhouse with palm trees, many bars and a mellower, funkier house sound. It normally starts kicking around 06.00 am. Inside is more trance orientated with a great sound system and laser show. Get ready for the shock of your life when they turn on the dry-ice machine which shoots great jets of cold air up through vents in the floor. This year, 2008, Amnesia will host, for the first time the Manumission party of which actually Privilege became famous. Parties 2008:- Cream, Manumission, People from Ibiza, Cocoon, Armada, Juicy. DC10 An after-hour club for those for whom Space is not enough. Famous for post-Space Monday morning sessions. Used to be very underground but has now emerged into the limelight as the place to see and be seen for all those still capable standing straight and ordering a Vodka-Lemon at 11.00 on a Monday morning. Inside dance-floor and Terrace playing very good progressive music (Inside harder than out) with local DJ's Jo Mills, Tania Vulcano, Cirillo and friends. Unfortunately, this good secret can not be kept secret for long and to capitalise on this DC10 has started charging on the door, around 15 € with a free drink. Parties 2008:- Circo Loco. Eden Eden, formerly known as Kaos, was given a complete multi-million euro refurbishing in the winter of 1999 / 2000. Now claiming space for 5,000 clubbers, it has a state of the art sound system and a DJ booth designed by the Judge (Jules) himself, Eden has promoted itself into the Ibizan nightclub premiere league. House and trance to suit all tastes. Tonic, Dave Pearce's up-for-it anthems and the hard house and trance of Judgement Sunday has everyone jumping. Retro provided a welcome change to the dominant trance movement with club classics from the last 10 years. Respect goes to the back room, the Funky Room, which hosts some really excellent parties. Think superclub, think large, think extravagantly decorated and you are in Eden. Terraces, split levels, many bars and a backroom guarantee you a very entertaining clubbing experience. Eden has yet to acquire the style of a Pacha or Amnesia, but then again how many clubs can match that! It is so long ago since the dominance of the big 6 clubs has been challenged so hats off to Eden, let us hope they continue in the manner in which they have started. Note from Eden:- dress to impress, no football jerseys, no beachwear, tops to be worn at all times. Parties 2008:- Kool Waters, Tranz Ibiza, Twice as Nice, Garlands, Mondo Loco, Judgement Sunday, Wonderland. El Divino Opened in the early 1990s, El Divino is a relative newcomer to the island. Mostly house music with promoters Miss Moneypenny's, Italian night Salvation and top resident Paul Stevens. El Divino is fighting hard to win back some clubbing credo after realising that being a glamorous club alone simply does not pull the crowds in summer. Of course there is no mistaking the location as being anything but opulent - in the heart of the Ibiza Marina, surrounded by luxury yachts with the shimmering lights of Ibiza Town Cathedral in the background. The views across the water are simply breathtaking. But they still organise good parties! Miss Moneypenny's has been a consistent performer for 7 years now, which in the notoriously fickle Ibizan Summer, calls for respect. Parties 2008:- Milk'n'2Sugars, Hed Kandi. Miss Moneypenny. Es Paradis Opened in 1975. One of the few famous clubs to be actually in or near a town centre. (Very practical for San An based clubbers!). Everything from the sexiest house to top trance and techno, Es Paradis excels at providing a very varied weekly programme. With Trance, House, Disco, Old Skool, UK Garage and their own trademark water parties with residents Giovanni and Alex Collings, you can see why Es Paradis enjoys immense popularity, not only in San Antonio. Possibly the most beautiful club you will ever see. The enormous Glass Pyramid (With sun roof for those hot and steamy nights) is one of San Antonio's most famous landmarks. Inside, the club is decorated with Roman columns, marble fittings and tropical palm trees ;it will blow you away. If you get the chance, go to the water parties (Fiesta del Agua), where the sunken dance floor is filled with water. Tops off and dive in like everyone else does. You have never seen such a friendly and up for it crowd! Do not try to get into the Fiesta del Agua (Water party) with swimming shorts or trunks as you probably will be denied admission. You can of course cunningly wear them underneath your trousers / dress etc. Parties 2008:- Pukka Up, Rizzla Rocks, Fiesta del Agua. Pacha Opened in 1973. Playground of the rich and famous during the decadent 1970's and 80's, Pacha has now become Ibiza's most famous international dance export product. Pacha has become famous throughout the world for quality house music. The DJ Team is headed by DJ Pippi, who has been very instrumental in promoting this summer-sound. With many areas to choose from, including the Funky Room where soul, jazz, funk and mellow-house rule, and the harder, trancier Back Room. Pacha offers something for every taste, no matter how discerning. It is the only club open all-year-round (In winter the weekends only). Pacha guarantees some storming summer line-ups:- The Dj's are amongst the best in the world (Erick Morillo, Paul Oakenfold, Darren Emerson, David Morales, Jazzy M). If you are lucky enough to be on the island for one of the 'Flower Power' parties, don't miss this opportunity to travel back in time to the 1970's, when many of the original Ibiza playboys and girls dress up in hippy outfits to groove the night away. It is fabulous fun wandering around, stopping for a drink and a chat or sinking into one of their plush sofas which fill the venue. Although an enormous club, with a capacity for over 5,000, Pacha still retains a very cosy and intimate feel. A true Ibiza Experience. Parties 2008:- Release yourself, Flower Power, Defected, Subliminal, Fuck me I'm famous, Pure Pacha, Def Mix, Pacha Classics. Privilege Very varied. Renaissance and Manumission promise music from each and every genre, from funky breakbeat to full on trance and techno. Other nights Xtravaganza, Mondano and Nature One are mostly trance. With the advent of the dividing wall, there is also room for two different music styles on the same evening, hard in the main room, housier in the side room. The sound system is large to say the least. Well Privilege is the size of a soccer field. You will be lucky not to get lost in Privilege. You enter the club down a massive staircase, and are bang in the middle of (Probably) the world's largest dancefloor. Fantastic atmosphere when full, you can spend the whole night wandering around the terraced gardens (With Palm trees) or upstairs in the VIP lounge (With real VIP's), there are several different dance areas with different music styles (Manumission even has a resident toilet Dj).......Privilege has to be seen to be believed. Privilege (Formerly known as KU) enjoys legendary status not only on Ibiza, but worldwide. After all, not every club can boast a capacity of 10,000 and a swimming pool to cool you off when the going gets hot. Formerly the darling of the late-eighties Jet Set, super models and rock stars, Privilege (At this time known as KU) was forced to close down in the early nineties - alleged rumours of drug trafficking and mafia abounded. Since re-opening in 1994 under a new name, Privilege has become synonymous with the largest party of them all.......Manumission. For the last 9 years, Monday nights on Ibiza just have not been the same. For those of you who haven't heard of Manumission, do yourselves a favour and check it out. Transvestites on perilously high trapezes, dwarfs peeling potatoes, wicked fancy dress dancers, and a refreshingly non-trancey sound. Unfortunately for Privilege, last year the Manumission people decided to move venue. As from 2008 Manumission will be hold at Amnesia. Parties 2008:- Monza, Meganite. Space Club Opened in 1988, originally as a normal night-time disco, Space is now the world's most famous Afterhour club - i.e. it opens early morning after the other clubs have shut! Now hosting several night-time parties as well, Space is a very popular venue. From the sublime to the very hard. Funky summer house and garage is the key to the terrace's success, where you can sip Vodka Lemons in the sun and chill out with Ibiza's wildest clubbers. Inside, quality trance and techno lead the way. A fabulous contrast programme, headed both inside and out by the world's finest DJ's. Space enjoys something approaching cult status on the world dance scene. Dedicated clubbers fly in especially for the opening and closing parties and many world class DJ's name Space as their favourite club. It is located right at the foot of the runway. As the planes come swooping in, everyone throws their arms to the sky and screams their head off. Space has great Dj's, cool clubbers, and is open when everywhere else is shut. Highly recommended. Parties 2008:- Casa Grande, We love Space, Carl Cox, La Troya. * As soon as more data become available we will make adjustments to the party list where necessary. Back To Top
